I had a birthday! The good news is that I bought some paints with birthday money and did some painting. The bad news is that I TOTALLY sprained my wrist playing late night drunken birthday football, although whether this will “affect” my “artistic ability”, I am quite unsure. It will certainly stop me playing ukulele for a couple of days (and makes typing hilariously painful)…

I was all excited about going to see Why? in London last Wednesday as a pre-birthday treat to myself. However, they had some kind of “in-band mumps outbreak” and cancelled their tour, leaving me with two days booked off work and train tickets to London at slightly peculiar gig-oriented times. Luckily it was gloriously sunny, and I still had a fantastic time exploring with Anni.
